Volunteer
We sincerely value the support of our members, and encourage you to
participate fully by volunteering your time. Just a few hours a month will
enable us to complete a variety of projects. We currently need help with
the following tasks:

1.) Museum Docents - volunteer at the museum for two hours a week,
Wednesday-Sunday
from 1 to 5 p.m.
2.) Under guidance of the museum director, assist with museum collections. Items
donated to the museum must be examined, organized, and categorized. This is an
interesting way to learn more about area history and about the important work done
by our museum.
3.) Assist with a variety of computer tasks, training is available, but we would prefer
anyone with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Xcel spreadsheets, and Microsoft Publisher
4.) Serve on committees - Trails Committee (long-term commitment), Home Tour
Committee (short-term commitment), Membership Committee (long-term
commitment), Development Committee (long-term commitment.)
5.) Work on our newsletter. Our newsletters are created using Microsoft Publisher. We
need someone to assist with layout and design for our quarterly newsletters. This is a
long-term commitment.

Contact: Tom Vaughan at 970-532-2147 if you would like more information
about how you can help.
